After 10 years as a secondary school teacher, I’ve taken the leap into a brand new career as a financial adviser—and I’m here to share everything I’m learning along the way. What’s more, as a lover of travel and languages (I studied French and Spanish at uni), I’m also writing about family finance and travel- with a focus on helping busy parents make smarter financial decisions without sacrificing fun.

Before our little ones arrived, my husband and I were lucky enough to explore the world—from California to Japan. Since becoming parents our trips look a little different, but we’re still on a mission to explore new places with our two gorgeous kids. We’ve already gathered plenty of tips and tricks for travelling as a family and I can’t wait to share them with you.

Parenthood shifted my perspective on life- suddenly, long-term finances became more important than ever.
